I’m Alicia, an illustrator based in Barcelona originally from the Canary Islands. I also lived several years in Madrid and Berlin so for my eventually German clients: Willkommen! Ich spreche deutsch aber ich schreibe sneller auf English 😉

I studied graphic and web design but 5 years ago I decided I was tired from screens, took a pen and a brush and started drawing the “old style” way. Recently I came to terms with screens and now I combine tradicional and digital drawing techniques in my illustrations.

I love to find the perfect idea for abstract and complicate concepts and this makes me enjoy editorial illustration the most.

I’m also very interested in animation and I’m currently learning and researching animation techniques that allows me to include tradicional illustrations to break with the digital aesthetic I see in mostly animations.
